Press info: | Fat Cars is a card driven racing game in which 8 of the 48 Track cards are used to build a new race course for each game.
Each player will have 5 Tempo cards hidden and 3 cards open defining velocity and quality of their maneuvers. Each round (driving through one Track card) the players accelerate and brake their cars using tempo cards and earn chips if their open tempo cards match the track card. The chips may be used in a poker game to attack other cars.
Whoever has the best position at the end of the race wins the game. Each race will always have 7 cars with any non-player Cars, called "Alte Hasen" (= old pro's), controlled by the rules. The same rules applies even if the game is played solo. Without "alte Hasen" even 7 players can play.
A point system allows Campaign play over a series of races.
Additional rules and materials will become available at www.edition-erlkoenig.de. |
